I agree with this, undocumented workers should pay their taxes and penalty. I know this will affect legit documented workers but if the government won't do this, they will be forever undocumented, will lurked inside the shadows, earning money without paying their responsibility as an employee. Wouldn't that be a worse scenario?

First of all, I'm American. My family has lived here for generations. I love this country.

I'm creating this poll to inspire dialogue -- intelligent discussions. Speak your mind. There are heated arguments from both sides, but please keep the exchanges civil by respecting each other. All are welcome to share their thoughts. BUT I WILL REPORT HATE SPEECH.

I'm not sure. The government surely knows what they're doing but no one is perfect. Besides, this immigration reform has a flaw. Like what Super Slam said. This might affect the people's wages. Non immigrant workers will also be affected because for them, this isn't fair. One more thing, employees will prefer to hire immigrants because of lower rates for wages resulting to inequality. That sucks for non immigrant workers

Not really sure. It's not as simple as it seems. But no one can deny that our nation is strong because of its diversity.

The government boasts that it would benefit the economy. I only wish it's true

This plan may end up doing the most damage to the very sectors that begged for reform. Most people will think that this may help but for me, i dont see it that way. This could harm the Americans' wages - worse the whole U.S economy
