He was trying to get silly. I'm about as white as one can possibly be and I love fried chicken. In fact, I have a particular affection for Church's fried chicken. But, this outdated stereotype makes it virtually impossible to discuss the topic of fried chicken with my black friends for fear that somebody's going to be offended.
